THE JEWISH WELFARE BOARD

Gesher Singapore is a programme which aims to foster interaction and understanding among the diverse segments of Singapore's Jewish community.

It provides a forum for Jews of different backgrounds and affiliations to share their experiences, values and perspectives.

The project consists of a series of educational and cultural programmes pertaining to Jewish or Israeli themes. Speakers include leaders from many diverse fields and come from a broad ideological spectrum. Discussions include provocative topics which focus on issues Jewish communities face today. Participants strive to challenge stereotypes and ensure that mutual respect and sensitivity are the cornerstones for Singapore's Jewish community.
